Okay, so this image is more "Northwestern" than "Western," I'll admit.
This painting was painted at Yosemite National Park. (That's El Capitan Mountain in the background.) It was included in a show in Yosemite Museum Gallery, and traveled to other galleries around the Northwest in a special exhibit.
Glued to the back of the panel is little known facts about Paul Bunyan...
